HMD Global announces two new Nokia feature phones for everyday use. The Nokia 125 and Nokia 150 will be made available in select markets for a price of $24 and $29, respectively. The Nokia 125 comes with a 2.4" screen, wireless FM radio and storage to save upto 2000 contacts and 500 messages, while the Nokia 150 will bring additions such as MP3 player with upto 32GB of expandable storage, VGA camera with flash and Bluetooth connectivity.

Officials from President Donald Trump's administration is in discussion with the South Korean manufacturer Samsung on setting up more semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the United States. In the past we heard that the White House had approached Intel and TSMC to talk about building factories in the stateside, following the COVID-19 outbreak and also the increasing diplomatic tension between US and China, as they are one of the world's largest supply chain in the industry.

Xiaomi's sub-brand POCO launched their latest POCO F2 Pro in mainland China earlier yesterday. The phone has already been made available online for a starting price of €499 ($540) for the base 6GB RAM/128GB ROM variant (shipping from May 19). Huawei launched a new smartphone in the Europe named P30 Pro New Edition. The smartphone is already up for grabs in Germany through Hauwei's online webstore for a price of €749 or $809 in three colors with 8GB RAM/256GB of storage. The device is pretty identical to the original Huawei P30 Pro launched back in 2019, but bringing EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 with pre-installed Google Apps unlike devices from the new Huawei P40 series, and some other improvements.

President Donald Trump's administration is negotiating with semiconductor manufacturers including Intel and TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) about building manufacturing facilities in the United States as said by representatives from the companies. The news comes in following the Coronavirus outbreak and the increasing diplomatic strain between US and China. TSMC is also talking to Apple, who is one of it's largest customer and with US Department of Commerce regarding their plans.

Google's CEO Sundar Pichai have asked his staff to work from home until 2021. Previously Pichai had sent an email to his employees telling them not return to their respective offices at least until June 1, but now he has revoked this decision asking to them to likely work from home until the end of this year. However those who are required to work from offices will be allowed get back either in June or July with improved safety measures.

Multinational manufacturers Oppo, Samsung, Vivo and Xiaomi had to halt their production in India following an announcement of a nation-wide lockdown imposed by the government of India. However with the recently announced relaxations for green and orange zones in the country and the government slowly lifting restrictions, these manufacturer have resumed operations at their respective factories across the country in limited capacity. Xiaomi's manufacturing partner Foxconn have also received permission to resume production at their factory in Andhra Pradesh state.

Apple is looking forward to reopen some of their retail stores in the United States starting next week. According to a representative from the company, Apple is planning to open their stores in Idaho, South Carolina, Alabama and Alaska region in the coming week.
